The NecoPower-PD140i is a power-path board, 66.5 mm by 43 mm. It sits between a USB-PD port and the rest of the product and holds the output up when the input drops. One bidirectional USB-C port, USB Power Delivery 3.1, up to 140 W either way. Charge and discharge limits can be set. The photo is marked PD 3.1, 28 V / 5 A.
The STM32 on the board stays powered. Data lines are I2C and UART. There is no pack BMS on this PCB. An external BMS connects over I2C. With that link the controller can read cell voltage and temperature and use the pack protections: undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, low temperature, high temperature, and the charge counter. The power output is a push-in terminal block. The board has its own overvoltage protection. Cell chemistry and cell count come from the external BMS. The sheet does not fix a cell count.
