The EthLinx is a gateway that opens the world of TCP/IP applications to your existing RS-485 devices. It appears on your computer (Windows/UNIX) as a standard network card—no drivers required. Configure, monitor, and manage your communication with total flexibility via the embedded web server or our Python API.

- Single Isolated RS-485 Channel: One fully galvanically isolated channel (>1.5kV) ensure robust and safe operation in demanding environments.
- Driverless USB Network: Uses standard USB RNDIS or CDC-ECM device classes, appearing as a network adapter on any modern OS for instant connectivity.
- Intuitive Web Management: Configure all serial parameters, monitor bus statistics, and view device info from any web browser via its built-in HTTP server. The UI is available in multiple languages.
- Advanced Software Configuration: Easily set baud rates, parity, stop bits, and enable/disable 120Ω termination or idle-bus biasing via the web interface.
- Multi-Client Access: Each channel supports up to two simultaneous TCP connections, allowing for multi-master access, traffic spying, or logging without disrupting the primary application.
- Standard Performance: Supports baud rates from 2400 Bd up to 500k Bd, powered by a USB 2.0 Full Speed (12 Mbit) interface and standard 4kB communication buffers.
- Detailed Status Indicators: Per-channel, multi-color LEDs provide instant visual feedback on TCP connection status, data transfer, and bus errors.
- Scripting and Automation Friendly: Features a simple Python API and a script-friendly HTTP interface (GET/POST) for full device control and automation.
- Rugged & Compact Design: Housed in a durable metal case (80x50 mm) with industrial-grade 3.5mm terminal connectors. The case is grounded via the USB Type-C shield for enhanced ESD protection.
